The L'itinéraire du Charbon et de l'Acier (‘Coal and Steel Route’) prompts walkers, cyclists and roller skaters to discover local industrial heritage and the Parc Explor Wendel itself. This 10 km route, crossing through a forested area, links the Marienau district of Forbach with Petite-Rosselle.

The Communauté de Communes de Forbach Porte de France offers three other routes suitable for cyclists, roller skaters and hikers:

  • The Berges de la Rosselle route. This runs for 6.5 km through the heart of a former mining region reclaimed by nature, notably crossing the Warndt forest.
  • The Chemin des Romains route linking Nousseviller Saint-Nabor with Théding. This picturesque, rural 7 km route follows an old Roman road.
  • The Hérapel route, 8.5 km in length, takes you from Morsbach to Ebring via Folkling, discovering idyllic rural scenery and also the Gallo-Roman site of Hérapel in Cocheren.
